Im trying to run an RMI app from eclipse but im getting an error saying it has already been started by another application. I ran an application yesterday from the command line but i closed all windows down when finished..is there a special command to shut down the registry on the command line??

The registry may still be running in memory, try opening task manager (control + shift + escape) or (control + alt + delete) and killing the process.
