Hi. What I want to do is to keep a control enabled (an to keep its event handlers also active), but to disable it's default action. For example, if I have a CheckBox, how do I prevent it from being checked when it's clicked, without having to disable it? (just an example, my problem is different)

Perhaps you could override the checkboxclass.
