I have this game that I play which had a new sub-game: a Guitar Hero clone. Problem is, the controls are just too darn uncomfy. Another problem is that you can't change your controls.

So, what I did was I searched for a keyboard mapper that needed no restarting. I came across some guy's code (here: http://www.freshcode.co.za/post/Remap-Caps-Lock-Without-Reboot.aspx) to remap his capslock to a backspace.

Attached is the modified version of the code, which really works outside of the game.

The problem is, once the game is running, it just doesn't work.


Note that this game has some sort of gameguard. I'm thinking that that may be the reason, but I'm not so sure. What do you think?

This isn't really hacking, I just want to play the game easier and with controls just like Frets on Fire. lol
