Hi folks. I use Win 7 on my desktop. I have a 1TB HDD that I partitioned so I could boot from C: drive and then store data on the larger "partition" D: drive, a common practice. Well I bought a SSD to install as a boot drive and loaded a fresh copy of Windows. Now I intended to delete the old C: drive from the HDD and use the entire HDD as my storage. Ok, so I tried to re-alocate the space, but I did something back-asswards and deleted my storage. Now as soon as I seen I screwed …

I was stumbling trough the inter net the other day when I came across a company offering Free (3 systems or less) software to help find your Laptop, Tablet, phone, etc. should it be misplaced or stolen. Not a unique idea I know but they had some interesting features besides just basic geo-location. The software is called Prey and I am trying it on a couple of my systems but, in the mean time I though it would be something that my fellow DaniWeb users might like to look ito. [https://preyproject.com/](https://preyproject.com/) After installing the software on your laptop, tablet or …

I've implimented this snippet of code dijkstra_shortest_paths( g, name2v[tempName1], get(&VertexProperty::predecessor, g), get(&VertexProperty::distance, g), get(&EdgeProperty::weight, g), boost::identity_property_map(), // index-map std::less<double>(), // compare std::plus<double>(), // combine std::numeric_limits<double>::infinity(), // infinity 0.0, // zero do_nothing_dijkstra_visitor(), get(&VertexProperty::color, g)); to use dijkstra's on a map created from a text file, but I have no idea how to output the vertex I start at to the next one required to be visited and the distance between them repeatedly followed by the total distance traveled. I can post any part of the code to assists with this. I think this may be required, this is what I used …

Hello After I could not boot my Macbook Pro (OS X Lion 10.7.5) I tried to run safe boot. I thought it worked, but only thing it did was booting the mac without any data i used to have. All the software is there. It's like a brand new mac with full applications. My storage seems as full as before so I know the data is somewhere inside my Macbook. How can I find them? (I'm still logged in as I always were and there seems to be no other accounts)

I would be great if someone could spot the problem with this code please. I have a MySQL table that was populates an Options list which works well when adding new records to another database table. The code is: $query="SELECT id, types FROM $table ORDER BY types ASC"; $result = mysql_query ($query); echo "<select name=\"type\">"; echo "<option value='Select from list.....'>Select from list.....</option>"; while($nt=mysql_fetch_array($result)){ echo "<option value=$nt[types]>$nt[types]</option>"; } echo "</select>"; In an EDIT program I required the Options list item previously selected when adding the record to be 'echo'd back'. I changed the above code to do this as shown here …

Hello everyone, I have a 300gb Sata hard drive that I partitioned into 3 partitions: (C:(System, OS) 60gb) - (D:(Music and Videos) 100gb) - (E: (My Studio) 140gb) Something happened and D: & E: disappeared. I bought a program called "Mini-tool Power data recovery" and I was successful in recovering all of my lost files. Now I want to repartition the hard drive back and just use it as one Partition because I bought two more hard drives to do what I had done with the hard drive in question. When I click on "my computer" it shows my C: …

I'm a beginner at c++ and i was given a certain assignment. A person enters a digit, and then this digit is multiplied by 4, but if the multiplied number is greater than 9 then we add its digits, and if the addition still give you greater than nine, then we continue to add until it gives us something equal to or less than 9. for example: cin >> 9; 9 * 4 = 36; since 36 > 9; then do 3 + 6 = 9. I don't know how to write it. Any help is appreciate it and please …
