Unanswered and Self-Answered Threads 8 Years Ago by diafol Just wondering whether self-answered threads (without any contribution) - i.e. OP posts and then marks as solved - should be classed as "unanswered" and show in the Unanswered tab of a forum / search. My feeling is that they shouldn't, but I'm sure there's a good reason why they do. Can anybody shine a light on this? I take your point, but not sure many people would take the time to offer a solution to a solved thread - which doesn't have a posted solution.
