Hi All, Two questions really: 1. Is Windows 2003 still supported? (With all the fuss about XP support ending, I'm not sure if I missed it) 2. We have an old Windows 2003 Small Business Server as our domain controller, Exchange server and file server which is coming to the end of it's life. We also have a Hyper-V (not service but bare bones server) with an iSCSI connection to a NASbox for the VM disks. I'm thinking of creating an Exchange VM and Maybe getting another NASbox to use as a file server. But I'm not sure what to …

We are making the switch to iMacs later this year but to improve employee productivity and enforce access policies we need to find a "business class" internet filter for our new iMacs. I can always configure our network to block the sites but this is primitive as it doesn't filter HTTPS sites. I'd like to keep the price of this to under the $150 range to allow for either a hardware purchase or a software purchase but not both. The only program I'm aware of is SafeEyes but that charges a yearly fee and we are really only looking to …

So basically I can't remove the blank space right above the 32% rating (Red 32%) & and the small sliver of space right below "Showing 1-6 of 88 reviews" at the bottom. I provided my entire code here with the links below, but if you search specifically for "/*Code that implements appearance detail 5 in homework handout */" you'll find the part of my CSS that I can't figure out and where I think the problem is. Sorry for just giving you the entire code. I felt that it may be a good idea to post the entire thing just …

**Introduction** Starting a website is easy, getting people to visit it is the hard part. I my self love designing and developing sites for fun, which is great because I'm making money from it, which makes it 100000x better! In this small and simple tutorial, I am going to tell you how you can easily setup your own small-time web design business, and how it can be expanded through free advertising. **You will spend** Of course, you have to spend money to make money, that's what I say. In this method, you don't have to spend much however. You obviously …

I'm centering my container div this way. #container{ position: absolute; left: 50%; margin:0 auto; height:100%; width:1024px; margin-left: -512px; text-align:left; } The div centers in the window, however when the user resizes the window to smaller than 1024 the window starts showing the center of the page. How can i make it to where the window will show the left side of my container when the window begins to shrink.

I've just kind of gotten bored reading over learncpp.com repeatedly, so i decided to attempt to make a couple small programs for my own enjoyment ( and to really test what I'm capable of ). I have been making this little game that I call Implicit Explicit. It's basically the same thing as Cows and Bulls. I have a couple questions commented in the code below. Please help?
#include <iostream> int Random ( int x ) { // this is completely random.. I don't know how else to do it. x = x * 97; x = x - 24; …

I saw this question posted in one of my linkedin groups and thought it could be an interesting one for this forum. What would you say is the best social media outlet as a starting point for a small business to launch their social media strategy from? I would say that it depends on two factors, product and target market. If it is a small business with a product that is targeted at a national market of businesses, Linkedin would be a good place to start as they can seek out and join groups that have the very companies they …

I'm working on a CyberPet assignment and I'm not sure how to do the following: 'Then write an [ICODE]encounter ( CyberPet )[/ICODE] method that allows one CyberPet to encounter another and will describe the encounter by returning a String data type. Note that the method should take a CyberPet parameter. If a small pet encounters a big pet, the method should return, “See yah!” If a large pet encounters a small pet, the method should return, “I’m going to eat you!” If they are the same size, the method should return, “Let’s go to McDonalds!” For example: if pet 1 …

Hello all I'm having a few issues with a Python program in that I am performing decimal calculations on and most values come up as desired, however every so often, when there is a very small decimal, the number is represented like "6.80E-7" rather than the desired "0.000000680". Here's a snippet of the code that I'm using:
import decimal decimal.getcontext().prec = 9 now = "230.939809280" then = "230.939808600" print str(decimal.Decimal(now) - decimal.Decimal(then))
This gives the following response:
6.80E-7
Does anyone know of a way for me to display this output as "0.000000680" instead? Any help would be most appreciated :)

I work for my family's small business. I recently graduated with a BS in Comp Sci but I didn't have much networking education. I am setting up a small file server to serve core files to about 10-12 computers. It will be running Ubuntu Server while the PCs connected will be running various versions of Windows. The files they need are not large, less than a few MB, but its much safer to have all copies of the files in one location (aside from backup) rather than multiple copies on multiple computers. I was wondering about how to structure to …

I know I have seen this problem once before, but I am currently seeing it on a dell latitude d600. During POST and while windows is loading the display is about half its normal size and centered within the viewable area. It appears this way in any PE environment as well. But it is full size when the welcome screen appears and normal throughout windows operation. ANY ideas?

Hello everyone, This piece of C# code does not produce any overflow exception. wordsize is a constant equal to 32. the x and y can be very big at the computation time. So big that long or decimal even cant hold. But C# handles the problem even the value of the variables exceeds its limits. The computation gives thr right result.(I dont know how it does it)
/** * Perform a right "spin" of the word. The rotation of the given * word <em>x</em> is rotated left by <em>y</em> bits. * Only the <em>lg(wordSize)</em> low-order bits of <em>y</em> * …

I found this blog on Duct Tape Marketing that has some really positive numbers about social media adoption by small businesses. It might be helpful (I know I am going to use it with some of my clients) if you have clients who are small businesses and don't think that social media is a small business kind of thing.
