can you help me with this. i have used tcpdf but i dont know how to read the contents of the .doc, .pdf contents and put it in a single pdf for the user to download it.

Well, if you absolutely need to do this, you'll have to find a way to read doc's and pdf's, and write the whole thing into one pdf. Also look at http://www.phplivedocx.org/2009/02/06/convert-doc-to-pdf-in-php/.
