Change username and delete post

Sorry to bump this older thread, but I had a suggestion from a moderator to ask here. I signed up for an account to play a joke on one of my classmates at University. He was asking a question about our assignment, and I replied with a troll response.

Well, I used our professors's name when I created the account, unaware that accounts were permanent, as well as the usernames.

This was my fault, and had nothing to do with my professor, so I am sincerley asking that my username be changed to something random, and my post in this thread be deleted. I'm terribly sorry about the misconduct, and it won't happen again.

I will change the username on this occasion to save your professor from embarrassment, but we do not delete posts unless they break our rules.
