Lots of members have links included in their signatures. Use the same mark down syntax as you would in a post.

It's working by design. We have no plans currently to support images in signatures. Might I suggest using your picture as your avatar? That would produce more or less the same effect.

That's fully supported. In the editor tool bar you can add files with the Files button. Image files that are uploaded can be embedded in a post. However, please note that if you put that picture on every post as a way to get around the limitations of the signature feature, it may be flagged as a fake signature and removed as per our rules.

You might also want to consider an online presence manager like about.me:
https://about.me/

Then you could create whatever image you want as a background, supply whatever information about yourself you want made public, and then put a link to your Profile page in your signature. It's a slick way of creating an online Profile that doesn't have to be repeated each time you join a new site or forum.

I suppose you could do something similar with Gravatar (http://en.gravatar.com/) too.

Or your Facebook page.
Why not use that graphic on your Facebook page, put whatever information you want made public on your Facebook page, and then put that link in your signature? It would save you the trouble of duplicating your work? (Why re-invent the wheel?)

Thank god. No offence to iLikePHP, but the last thing I want to see are banners on most people's posts, all the way down a thread.
