This could be the cause of your problems
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TB_setup] C:\DOCUME~1\Melissa\LOCALS~1\Temp\tb_setup.exe /dcheck

And this
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Terminate Popup] C:\Program Files\Free-Popup-Killer\fpuk.exe
http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/f/free_popup_killer.asp
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Go to add and remove programs and uninstall the Free pop up killer program .
Then
...................................................................................
Then put hijackthis.exe in its own folder on the c:\ drive

Close all brower windows and run hijack again and fix the following .

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TB_setup] C:\DOCUME~1\Melissa\LOCALS~1\Temp\tb_setup.exe /dcheck

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Terminate Popup] C:\Program Files\Free-Popup-Killer\fpuk.exe.

Then go to C:\DOCUME~1\Melissa\LOCALS~1\Temp\,and delete the content of the temp folder .

Reboot and Run hijack again and post a new log

Download the latest version of Ad-Aware at ADAWARE

Setup Ad-Aware !
After installing AAW, and before running the program, update reference files by using the bottom right button in the program, labeled "Check for Updates."

Launch the program, and click on the Gear at the top of the start screen.

Click the "Scanning" button.
Under Drives & Folders, select "Scan within Archives".
Click "Click here to select Drives + folders" and select your installed hard drives.

Under Memory & Registry, select all options.
Click the "Advanced" button.
Under "Log-file detail", select all options.
Click the "Tweaks" button.

Under "Scanning Engine", select the following:
"Include additional Ad-aware settings in logfile" and
"Unload recognized processes during scanning."
Under "Cleaning Engine", select the following:
"Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."
Click on 'Proceed' to save these Preferences.
Please make sure that you activate IN-DEPTH scanning before you proceed

Thank you!! I went to add & remove but couldn't find the Free pop up killer program. I did everything else as instructed and here's the new hijack this log:

Thanks. I am still having problems with IE, cannot get to that website www.blackplanet.com - I see it listed under my trusted sites at the end of the hijack log - not sure what that means but I cannot get it to come up. I wish I would have written down the other sites I couldn't access. Any other suggestions?

you could run hijack and check off and fix the 015 and see what happens .
Also try going to tool in IE ,go to internet options /security and click on default levels .

Still no luck. If you think of anything else let me know.
