Hello! I have read through many threads here and elsewhere but am unable to fix the problem myself, so am humbly asking for some assistance.

Right now I have a problem with the go.google redirect. Many websites, seemingly ones related to anti-virus stuff, I cannot access. I'm using IE. I had chrome installed, but it couldn't access any sites as of two days ago. I cannot download most programs I try too. (Although I could download hijack this) I get the "blue screen of death" occasionally - it goes really fast before switching off, but I read something about physical memory dump. If I click start, then search, and try to search for something on my computer I will definately get the blue screen. I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed but it is no longer working.. I click on it to run and nothing happens. It did pick up and seemingly fix a lot of problems about a week ago.. but now I have problems again.

here is the HJT log

From reading other threads, I realize I ought to delete any TDSS files. My problem is when I go to search for files, I get the bue screen of death. I don't know what step to take now.

I managed to download combofix from the zip Cohen put up (thanks) but can't get it to run either.

Any help will be greatly appreciated - I need to get my comp working again asap!

I'm at my wits end. I installed google desktop hoping I could search for files with it, now I get the blue screen everytime it tries to index. I also cannot start in safe mode, or safe mode with networking as I get the blue screen right away.

Someone please help me!

You should never run combofix unless directed to do so.
So DON'T run it. unless I tell you to do so. Delete that copy you downloaded.
See if this lets you run MBA-M.
Right Click My Computer. Choose Properties. When System Properties opens click Hardware, Device Manager. Then in Device Manager click View, Show Hidden Devices.
When those show go to Non Plug and Play Drivers. Look for # ou should see something like TDSSserv.sys
* Highlight that driver and right click on it and select DISABLE
* Now RESTART your computer.
Now either try updating that MBA-M you all ready have or uninstall it and download a new copy.
Then run a Full System Scan with it and allow it to REMOVE everything found. Save the log.
Reboot.
Run HiJackThis again and save the log. Post back here with those logs.

Thank you kindly for the response. I didn't get a chance to try that as IE stopped working altogether as well. Had to reformat, reinstall windows.

Too bad. We could have fixed it too :(
