Hi,

I seem to have a similar problem to this post's:

http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread189833.html#

when I start my computer, it shows two windows:

Error loading C:\WINNT\system32\autochk.dll
The specified module could not be found.

Error loading C:\DOCUME~1\NETWOR~1\protect.dll
The specified module could not be found.

I have had Sophos Anti-virus run over the system several times, and it doesn't go away.

I would be happy to start the HijackThis search, but obviously need someone to help me with this (not very experienced...).

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to daniweb,
Please do the following:
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M) to your Desktop.

* DoubleClick mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install MBA-M.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt.
Reboot the computer

Once you have rebooted download and run a Full Scan with HiJackThis, save the log.
Copy/paste back here with the MBA-M log and the HJT log.
Judy

Thanks!
After running MBA-M and rebooting the two error messages had disappeared.

Anyways, here is the log from MBA-M:
