Hi all

hotoffers has been aling me for the last couple of days.
it sets itself as my homepage.

tried HJT, in vain.

plus, whenever i try going to Google.com/Yahoo.com i get the "search assistant" site.

plus, i get those annoying "Microsoft Windows Security Warning..blabla...-8080 -3128..." messages.

any rescue?
i read many threads here about that annoyance, none seem to address my specific case, at least not to my non-expert eye.

Thanks a bunch in a dvance,
Soarom
