Today by chance I saw one dll file on my desktop. It is winfh.dll and is a hidden file. I had enabled to see the hidden files and folders and thats when I saw it.
Is it a virus ? Shoud a .dll file even be on desktop ?

I generally recommend that, when you come across a suspicious file, you should upload it for analysis at either http://virusscan.jotti.org/en or http://www.virustotal.com/.
