Well, after downloading something and getting a huge barrage of spyware and an attempted backdoor virus, most is cleaned up, except I keep getting random pop ups when i'm not on the internet. My Web browser is Firefox just for a side note. I deleted all the programs that automatically installed that were creating the pop ups but i'm still getting some and the only one that i don't know what it is is this
So if anyone has any insight on that, that would be great. I've scanned with Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE and they've taken care of everything but theirs still periodic pop ups that come up when i'm not even on the internet.

First of all- uninstall the "Content Delivery Module" through your Add/Remove Progams control panel.

If you're still experiencing problem after that, please do the following:

Download the (free) HijackThis utility:

Once downloaded, follow these instructions to install and run the program:

Create a folder outside of any Temp/Temporary folders for HJT and move it there now. A folder such such as C:\HijackThis or C:\Spyware Tools\HijackThis will do.

Run HijackThis, but do not have HJT fix anything yet; only have it scan your system! Once the scan is complete, the "Scan" button will turn into an option to "Save log...". Save the log in the folder you created for HiajckThis, open the log in Windows Notepad, and cut-n-paste the entire contents of the log here.

The log contents will tell us a lot about what "nasties" have crept into your system, and once we analyse the log we can tell you what to do from there.
