I run Windows Xp and I have Microsoft office 2007. But I mainly use the Outlook Express. I have Outlook express running in my tray. When i go to open it I get:

"Outlook is not responding. If you are using an Exchange server e-mail account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking the Outlook icon in the notifications area, and then clicking Cancel Server Request on the shortcuts menu."

I don't understand what this is saying. And it takes several try's to open my outlook express. Is the error virus related?

What protective software do you have? Please list all anti-virus and anti-malware software.
