hi. i've been having some trouble with firefox, because i seem to be unable to open certain pages.
all the pages that don't have the "www" element on their adress don't open, and i get a "server not found" message.
for example, i'm unable to open a page like "http://example.com", but i can open most of the ones like this "http://www.example.com" or "www.example.com".
this started happening after some trouble i had with my computer, because i spent months without using the internet, and when i used it again, the short period of time that i was connected until i made the updates to my anti virus was enough to mess my computer up...i solved most of the problems but this is getting hard to fix..can somebody help me??? thanks anyway
p.s. i've already posted this problem on the web browsers forum, and someone toldme to try to post it here, so, if somebody can help, i would appreciate.
