Have split your post out to it's own thread. Please do not piggy back other user's threads.

You have a lot more there than bridge.dll. Please do the following;

First of all you need to update hijackthis to version 1.98.2. Run hijackthis & go to *Config\Misc Tools\Check for update on-line*. If the site is down, go here. Remove the old version by deleting the file manually. Unzip the new version into the hijackthis folder.

Uninstall Bargain Buddy from add\remove programs.

Remove Newdotnet, either from add/remove programs, or by going here. & scrolling down to the uninstall tool.

Download CWShredder from here & run it. Select the fix button & it will fix everything related to CoolWebSearch that is stored in it's database. Close ALL windows, including Iinternet Explorer, before running CWShredder. Reboot.

To help prevent this from happening again, install the patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits by going here for your critical updates.

Download & instal Adaware from here
& update it before scanning.
In settings under 'scanning,' have it set to
'scan within archives,'
'scan active processes,'
'scan registry,'
'deepscan registry'
'scan my IE Favourites for banned URL's,'
'scan my host's file.'
In 'tweaks' under 'scanning engine' set it to 'unload recognised processes during scanning.'
Also in 'tweaks' under 'cleaning engine' set it to 'Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion' & 'let Windows remove files in use at next reboot.'
Select 'activate in-depth scan' before starting scan.
When the scan is finished select 'next.'
Remove what it finds by placing a check in the box to the left of the object. Reboot

Download & instal Spybot S&D from here. Update it before scanning.
After the scan is complete, have spybot fix everything marked RED.
On the page that first opens when you start Spybot there is an option to immunise, you should do this. In the immunise section there is also a link to download Spywareblaster. This program will prevent the install of bad activex controls that it has knowledge of. Download that & you can keep it updated by selecting the same link that you use to download it.

Get the VX2 Cleaner plug-in for Adaware here. Start Adaware & run the plug-in. If anything is found select *clean system.* Then reboot & run Adaware & remove whatever it finds.

Reboot after doing this & post another log please.

I have gone through the instructions in your first mail, and when doing the spybot restore point, it took a long long time. I wonder if it is normal?

Also when I was doing the disk cleanup, a "large volume of over 500Mb" said to be created by windows after going through the spybot processes appeared. Is it safe to delete it?

Did you have problems uninstalling Mywebsearch?
Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

O2 - BHO: MyWebSearch Search Assistant BHO - {00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\SrchAstt\3.bin\MWSSRCAS.DLL

Delete the C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch-folder

Any back-ups created by these spyware removal tools should be kept for (IMHO) about one week to be certain that all is right with your computer.

Thanks Crunchie you have been of great help. I have done all except removing MyWebSearch folder. How does HJT do a back up? and what is (IMHO)?

I also have problem locating NewDotNet.exe. I can only find the dll one.

HJT back up all files it deletes by creating them in it's resident folder. How? I am not sure :) .
Why did you do the spybot restore? I am not sure what you mean.
500Mb seems to be a little large for spybot back up files! You can delete it given that your computer is running okay after about a week (In My Humble Opinion)
Spybot should take care of Newdotnet.

When I do the destroy part after checking for problem, spybot always ask to set restore point in case I need to go back. The last time I did it, it didn't take too long, so I think it is fine.
