Ive sorted this prob out myself, seemed to be a file access problem due my kids altering security access to some files.

Hi Crunchie
Ive checked my Add or Remove Programs and I cant see any of the following 'Window Search', 'Window Searching', 'Lop.com', 'LOP SEARCH', 'Browser Enhancer', or 'Ultimate Browser Enhancer' or anythig like these in there.
Also ive checked the link you suggested
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm
but can't see Lop Remover on there unless its under another name?
Any other ideas will be much appreciated

Could anyone help?

My pc is-
Hewlett-Packard
Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1700+
1.4 GHz 256MB of RAM

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition

I think my pc has picked up a virus or something there seems to be numerous 'iexplore.exe' running, there may be other unwanted 'exe' programs running. My homepage is being hijacked and unwanted tool bars have appeared which clear if I run Omegakiller but soon return.
I had a similar problem a while back and it was sorted by that kind 'Crunchie' but my kids have been on my pc and since then it has been playing up. Also AVG Free edition has stopped working. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall same but failing to even uninstall properly, Tried running a Norton 2003 edition iI have but thats not running properly either
Here is a HJT log if anyone would care to take a look and help me.
P.S. Ive banned the kids....................lol

Could anyone help?

My pc is-
Hewlett-Packard
Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1700+
1.4 GHz 256MB of RAM

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

I’m having problems with my pc locking up and if it doesn’t lock up I get the dreaded BSOD
I’m running Ad-Aware SE, AVG Free, Microsoft AntiSpyware, Pc Bug Doctor and SpyBot Search & Destroy
I’m sure my pc is infected with something as I keep getting unwanted silver search bar at the top of my screen and also a blue tool bar at the bottom of my screen

Any suggestions that might help would be much appreciated.
