-what does it mean to store a path of an image in a database. does it mean that the image resides on a filesystem and a link to that image is stored in the database?
-and how are videos stored in database?
-and how are fb and youtube able to process large volume of data when millions are accessing it at the same time?

  • Those files are put on a CDN that are optimized for access across the world.
