I've written a program in Delphi 7 on my Windows XP computer that obtains values from a serial port (using ComPort) and puts them into a MySQL database. (I've got all the connectors and service set up) but when I try to run the .exe on a Windows 2000 computer I get an error 'Project1.exe has generated errors, you will need to restart the program. Windows is creating an error log' can anyone shed some light on how to get this to run?
