hi, im just after a bit of input from some of you guys as reagrds to a new programming task i thought i would try and attempt. I would like to create a histogram of an image. I hope ive got my termanology right but i think thats a graph of the colour content of an image. Basically i was hoping to read through an image creating the histogram. To do this i presume im going to have to do something like access each pixel in turn and assign it a value depending on what colour it is then store it in some sort of array? im hoping im on the right lines to a reasonable start.
Anyway i was wondering how i would be able to access the images pixels, is there a function of some sort out there?
