ever tried putting the search key-words java + hash in old reliable?

you'll notice that there are several options: HashMap, HashTree, HashCode, ...
since I haven't used any of them for years, I'll leave it to those with more knowledge here on, but you might want to give more details on what it is you're trying to achieve, and what it is you've tried so far
