Hey all

I have a number of WCF services that I've written for a project I'm doing at university. Unfortunately, my services are being stubborn (or maybe my firewall or something related). Whenever I try to add a service reference to another project, apparently 'the remote computer actively refused the connection'.
The confusing thing about this is that the remote computer, is in fact my computer. If I add the DLL to my project and use it simply as a class, the moment I instantiate it, I get a 'XAMLParseException'.
I thought maybe the code in the services was incorrect, but testing that code in any context other than a service gives exactly the results I expected. Anybody have any advice on what might be going wrong?
