If anybody has some idea to make antivirus in VB6 then please reply with your ideas.
well, i m thinking it is possible by Controlling the windows services but i m not sure. Pl. help me......

An anti virus in VB6 .....I don't know actually about that ...
You can controls files in disk by moving renaming and deleting ...
You can also do a complete windows search using VB ..
You can also do a system check.
[ one thing is not sure that it will remove the virus ... ]
I think first for this you just need a virus database .Create a list of fully updated viruses and bugs.Then do a system search.
I think you can do this by
-during search compare the files with your database files ...
-Create a list of searched files and then compare it.
I think the windows API controls will be helpful for doing anything more in this case ...
