Keeping spaces when extracting text from HTML

Hi,

When I extract text from HTML i get 2 words that bleed into each other when the text goes to a new line.
This is the HTML.

<b>Special truck license plates celebrating Virginia's tobacco
heritage.</b>  Authorizes the issuance of &quot;tobacco heritage&quot; special
license plates for trucks.  This bill was incorporated into HB 2534.</p>

I get the following result when I extract the text.

Special truck license plates celebrating Virginia's tobaccoheritage.¿ Authorizes the issuance of ;tobacco heritage; speciallicense plates for trucks.¿ This bill was incorporated into HB 2534.

Can anyone please offer any suggestions.
