Can any software testers out there help?

I've noticed a lot of job adds asking for a tester with c# experience. I would like to learn a new language and apply it to software testing.

Please can you tell me the type of programs testers creating in C#?

Your question sounds "Software" to test C#. Write unit tests and use NUnit to run them.

If you are looking for static analysis, you should use FxCop, and use ReSharper to analyze your program at source code level.
