Hi, I was wondering what libraries there are out there to do some simple sound generation.
For example sine waves, square waves etc..
I'm on Linux, so no Microsoft stuff please.

I know there is csound, it's multiplatform and for sound synthesis, although I've never used it so?...
Well, it's only my personnal opinion but sound under linux is still quite a mess mainly because of a lot of libs with compatibility issues (oss, esound, alsa, pulseaudio, ...)
