Changing the colour/HSV of a pixmap/pixbuf with a slider?

Hi all!

This is something I've been trying to figure out for a long time now. I have a pixbuf that I'd like to change the hue, saturation and/or brightness with using sliders, however I've not been able to find anything that points me in the right direction.

If anyone has any ideas of how this can be done (seems impossible at the moment), I would be eternally grateful.
