how to add new element to the existing xml file

Hi all,

i'm new in c# & xml.
i want to add new element to the existing xml (data.config) file which was created by other person. i'm using microsoft visual studio 2005.
and i also want to add some new attribute to that new element.

My code is like ...
(i hv one main root , let say 'Root'
and 'Root' has one element , let's say 'F'
and 'F' has 3 or more child
what i want to do is to add new element (like 'F') to 'Root'
and also want to add attribute to that new element

Pls help me dear, i need in urgent . :( plssssss help me, i'm in trouble :)
