I have made a program based rs 232 port with MFC.
I want to get system call which gives me state, wether power is turn on or off.
is there any system call which gives information of powerstatus?

Jump to PostNot exactly sure what your trying to do, but I googled rs 232, and it sounds like your maybe trying to write a driver for a portable device? What exactly is your situation.

Actually in my program, i have done with rs232,
1 Open port
2 read port
3 write port
now, when i have switch on powersupply, a msg comes and if power supply is already on then msg will not come.
I want to track that starting message.
