Hey, I was wondering if somebody could test this out for me? I need to know if it acts the same on other pcs as it does on mine. The game seems to randomly speed up/slow down. Can you test if it does the same?

It's a simple space invaders game. Thanks.

It seems that the use of the keyboard (missiles) affects the acceleration of foreign traffic. You can use your own game clock and sync with it. I recommend the book:

With acceleration, the game also looks good and does not indicate an error, but a covert intelligence of attacking ships. The more you shoot, the faster ships are. How much you would have to toil to achieve this deliberately.

But it doesn't for me sometimes, thats my problem. Sometimes, the game works perfectly, everything moving at the set speed constantly. Is it a flaw of using a standard timer.start() method instead of threads for the game loop? I think it just seems like firing missiles slows it down, even if you don't fire any, it does the same thing.
