I am trying to set a maximum records to "take"-"pool" from an sql server because I get an error out of memory when I try to navigate through all records in a 1.60 gb database, is there any option anywhere that will allow me to specify a max number of records to retrieve from a database (and when I reach this maximum when I navigate to pool another specified number of records 10 for example to avoid the out of memory error? with out any store procedure if possible or when possible if there is any other option).
I am using vb .net express 2008 sp1, sql server 2008 express.
