If you truly think you've been treated unfairly (which I somehow highly doubt), I encourage you to get a second opinion. Show this thread to someone and ask them who they think instigated this whole thing. If anyone out there thinks it isn't you, I'll eat my hat. Again, show this thread to your professor, if you dare. See what he thinks.
