Hi,

I have some experience with Visual C++. Recently I have been trying to develop on Mac OS X, and the IDE of choice is naturally XCode.

It is very straightforward in VC++ to build the program in DEBUG configuration or RELEASE configuration. But as a newcomer for XCode, I don't know how to do the equivalent thing in XCode. There are tons of options involving DEBUG and RELEASE configuration, but I don't know which option works. So far I am not able to build and run the RELEASE configuration. (how do I know? The program is dammed slow!)

BTW I am using Lion with XCode 4.1.

Is there anyone who can help?
