Hi, so I have this assignment to create a scheduling algorithm, I tried looking everywhere for help on how to create one and the closest one was here, where I found a great source code, yet I tried to modify it with my assignment variables and I created some nasty errors and I was wondering is someone could help me:
1) create it using the variables:
process id, arrival time, cpu burst, priority
1 0 5 3
2 2 3 0
3 5 5 2
4 6 2 1
5 6 7 3

2) change quantum from 1 to 3(I tried changing it myself but the program just froze up thinking)

3) display the average time it takes for the 5 processes to run

Anyway the code is

Change line 208 to be

} while (passes <= 2 && slot->burst <= slot->working); /* line 208 */

Before this change, if burst was not a multiple of quantum you would be an infinite loop, as you did.
