Are there any libraries out there that allow me to play .avi files within my OpenGL application?

My SSDS does play avi. It just does Mpeg better. At the time avi didn't have the ability to start and stop at various points in the video.
Shoot lots of video and keep an eye on the politicos. What ever format.
