I am looking how to join two different tables from two different databases into one datagrid view. To make things more clear I am using two different connection strings to get the data.I perfer VB but if I need to use c# I can adapt.

Are they linked servers? SQL Server or MySQL?
If linked, you can do as suggested here:

That link also gives examples on how to set them up, but it looks like its MSSQL specific.
Short of it, make a linked server, and then use the full linked path when joining against it from the "local" server.
