On mousemove event possible to check if the mouse cursor is out the listview1 area?

That has to be yes. You would write code to find your listview area then movement picks up where it is then compare.

However this sounds like a bad UI decision. Also, given it's VB6 there is much brokeness so you can't count on it working on say, Windows 10.
