I am Turbo/Borland C++ programmer. I could write c++ programs. However I don't know Visual C++, and I have Visual C++ 6.0. What should be my first and next steps to learn Visual C++. Are there any online eBooks and tutorials. If so please tell me.

1. step #1 -- go to Add/Remove Programs and remove that old ancient compiler from your computer.

2. Setp #2, to do Microsoft Web site and download VC++ 2005 Express and the Windows Platform SDK.

Depends on what you want to do. If it's just more of the same, as long as you didn't use non-standard Borland functions, your old code should compile fine.
