I'm engaging in a little petty accelleration :P I just wondered if anyone knows a way to make a shell script simpulate keys typed on a keyboard?

E.G. I press my xmodmap xbindkeys'd shortcut, it calls 'tag.sh p' and tag.sh somehow sends <p></p>(four right arrow keys) to the current window... just to speed my html up a little :D it doesn't matter if a method needs a PID, I can handle that part, all I need is some way of sending keypress events to a window...

I understand a bit of shell scripting, but I have no clue how I would go about this...

Sorry for the double post, but I would appriciate at least someone saying that they don't think that this is the place to ask, if it isn't?just to know that people read this...
