Hello

I am trying to make an VB program to open an excel workbook and just open it.

I have two forms. the first is a crude password system that if completed switches to form2. That is fine but i have no idea how to then make this form have a button to open the file.

I am using MS VB2005 expreess edition so would appriciate it told using that if possible

I have only done the tutorial in the program and so am not very advanced in the language.

use the "shell(name and location of the file)" function.
try to search about the function....

and one more thing,you should post your question in the vb.net forum,this is for vb,4,5,6 only.there are more people that can help solve your problem there......
