can anyone help me. im working on a project using joomla cms and within a certain component, all of a sudden the save, edit and cancel buttons dont work. all the buttons that have javascript code behind dont work in the joomla back end.
plus, the buttons work perfect locally but dont work online.
any help will be appreciated.

Which Joomla Component? Do you have any error messages?
If you have firefox, install Firebug. getfirebug.com
Chrome and Safari both have a JS console, so you just have to open the console.
Firebug has a small icon at the bottom right of the browser. It will tell you what JS error occurred.
And Firefox has a javascript error console too!

However my firebug is not getting any error.
the component i am working on is com_artband. iam not able to edit anything.
the error only shows in IE; Access is Denied
Any help will be highly appreciated.
