hii ppl...

i want to open an excel file stored in c:\ drive. i have a link in JSP file. i want to open the excel file when a user clicks on link.

the problem is while running the application on server, i m not able to open the any file from my local drive.
i know there are some security issues when one tries to access local drive from browser, bt yet can anyone tell me how to get this done anyhow. ...


plz help

The Excel file must be in your application folder.
