I am 100% new to JavaScript, but I don't want that to be the case for much longer at all.

However, what's the best way to go about learning? What books should I purchase, or where is the most accurate, extensive, free online tutorial?

Your suggestions are appreciated! :)

Hi Skzz,

Too be honest, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. However I found the W3 Schools tutorials on Javascript to be a great help on getting some basic understanding, with a few nice examples to try out along to way.

If you find anything else that you think is worth while, be sure to let me know ;)

W3Schools really gives you the basic information and tutorial to get one started , but if you really want to get deeper ,get a book . I do not know any specific one but amazon will probably take you a step further .

Or if you prefer online tutorials , try
