hello! i have no knowledge of PHP at this time when i m writing this thread.my vacation are coming and i am eager to learn the PHP on my own means without any coaching institute.please help me by telling books for me and websites from where i can have a start up in the PHP so that i can also be able to post thread on daniweb for my further problems in PHP. thanks.

My starting point many years ago (and the author and book are still well respected to this day) is Build Your Own Database Driven Website using PHP and MySQL by Kevin Yank - http://bit.ly/v1pkS0. The Sitepoint website is a great source of information as well.
