I'm trying to do use X-editable to do inline editing instead of having textboxes and such, I'm editing labels that I would like to send in a post method to update the values in the database.
Is there anyway to send any kind of data within the <form> besides using <input>? I'm trying to use labels, spans, and such to keep the design/layout of a card.

I've looked around but haven't find anything that's actually working except using <input> which is what im trying to avoid.
