Ever heard Saas or Less? (for frontend developer)

What is it for?

I read the article and still do not understand the purpose.

SAAS usually means Software As A Service.
LESS in reference to CSS is a CSS extension. Some call it a pre-processor.

You may want to correct your question because not everyone may guess you really meant to ask about the other extension SASS.

Also, I don't see any burning reason to pick either pre-processor. You didn't from what I can read from your discussions here.
