I have a cgi/perl site and would like to convert everything over to php/mysql, then start customizing it, that or just integrate the two.
I'd really like someone to hold my hand as I learn these languages and attempt to improve my web site. Even CSS gives me problems.
Basically, I like the site as is, but I'm currently only taking in email name and password when a new member signs up. I'd like to add a member profile they can log in and edit - name, email, ph, address, mailing list options.
That is just the first of many things I need to do. This is my first post here. Is there anyone that would be willing to tutor me through this? I'd really like to understand the code as my site gets developed rather than download scripts or hire someone else to do everything.
I hope that makes sense. I might pay some money to the right person. Let's get to know eachother first.
