Other than a home loan guarantee some 25 years ago, my only VA experience has been with education assistance programs. The payments came fairly promptly, and were sufficient for my needs at the time. I don't qualify for treatment at a VA medical facility, so I can't give any input there.

I've never been to a VA hospital, so don't know. But I've never heard anything good about them from people who have been there. I go to normal doctors and use tricare military health plan.

There is always more to the story than what the media reports. However, I'm not sure about VA, but most states do not allow arrest of a misdemeanor that was not committed in the officers presence or immediately upon pursuing a fresh trail without a warrant. From what I read, they did ok, as they were following a trail. Also, some states allow the …

I tried swapping a formerly working VA-10 Abit to an Emachine T5026 case, when that mobo proved dead except for the light near the PSU connect. Now, when the Abit was in that eMachine case, I used a Compaq S3000Z switch to test, aligning the power terminals, and the case itself. Thing I dislike is Emachine's spongy power button, this one seems …

Hello all. I recently acquired a computer from a friend and it appears he has a downloader-va trojan as well as some other nasties. I am having a heck of a time removing it. I ran HJT and attempted to remove some of the suspicious files, but I don't want to wreck the computer. Let me know if I need to do a restart and then post the log if this …

Recently I installed a fresh copy of XP pro sp3 on 2 computers (from one CD) and installed all necessary drivers. After that, one computer has a problem with sound. Sound of some video files is distorted and .mp3 music files can't be played. But Windows default sounds is played just fine. I guess thats because they are .wav files. …

He's allegedly suing for $10M. Doesn't mean he'll actually get anything, and likely much less if he does win. Now here's a guy who may have a good case. I'll keep buying lotto tickets.

To be fair, when a basket has a bad egg, the whole thing stinks. The good is often overlooked for the bad. As far as I could tell the officers were answering an unrelated call. If once they saw the defendant they made a judgement that they had probable cause then maybe they can enter the premises-I don't know. I will update with more details…
